Who on my flist is in the Uk right now? My sister and her husband are stationed in Alconbery (sp?) right now, and I will be visiting her next year.

Nostalgia

Feeling the nostalgia. One of the first non-anime fandoms I ever got into was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and one of the fics that has stayed with me even after all these years was The Charms of Dancing by Anastasia, a Willow/Spike fic.

I'm still heartbroken that fic was never finished.

I don't think she ever wrote anything else in any other fandom, and as far as I know I think she pretty much disappeared from an online presence. I think the only person who would even have any idea would have been [livejournal.com profile] inell.

This makes me a bit heartbroken. I absolutely LOVED that fic, and just thinking about it still gives me warm flutters. I can remember staying up hours after I should have gone to bed, reading every single bit of that fic, and desperately keeping an eye out for any update. That was more than 10 years ago, close to 12 years now I think.

*sigh*

Just feeling a bit wistful about the fic is all.

12 years is a long time to be in love with an abandoned fic. What fic are you guys still in love with even though its been years and years, or abandoned or forgotten?
